Just a thought: LinkedIn Content

Today LinkedIn advertised and provided me a download for an entirely comprehensive content marketing strategy template. It seems LinkedIn understands the value of the practice and is actively trying to provide advertisers the tools and knowledge to effectively pursue content marketing.

I believe this is a great effort on behalf of LinkedIn because the LinkedIn culture is professional, information driven, and authentic, thus making the channel a perfect target for quality content marketing. LinkedIn obviously wants their advertising clients to produce interesting and authentic content. So why not hand out a full-fledged guide to the process of creating effective content? This is an amazing strategy because with more credible and authentic content posted, LinkedIn will continue to be the leader of professional-oriented social media. This way LinkedIn’s brand image can remain professional and resourceful while helping their advertising clients achieve their goals in the process. Kudos, LinkedIn.
